It seems to be happening to everyone. You make a great offer but never get a counter. The seller only countered to one offer, not yours. What can you do?
First, do not lose your buyer. Do not let the buyer think it is your fault the seller didnt counter to their offer. If you keep the buyer informed, that will help a lot to hold on to your buyer for another offer on another property.
Second, keep on good terms with the listing agent. The first sale could go bad. Put you buyer in a back up position if you can.
Third, quickly move on to another property. Do not let the buyer mull over the loss of the first offer.
